Position - Qualified Science Teacher
Location - Canterbury

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an excellent comprehensive school in the Canterbury area who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent position in September - full time. The salary will be MPS/UPS depending on experience.
The role:
- Plan and deliver creative lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
- Regularly assess and support students to ensure they are reaching their full potential
- Encourage a positive learning environment to ensure all students are engaged and participating
- Attend meetings and regular CPD to develop and share best practices across the Science Department and the wider school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential - both experienced and ECT's are welcomed
- Passionate, have strong subject knowledge and proven experience of teaching Science within a secondary school environment
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
