Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a successful and popular 11 to 19 secondary school in Central Essex to assist them in finding a qualified Science Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The successful teacher will be expected to teach Science up to KS4, with the school able to consider applications from specialists in Chemistry, Biology or Physics and NQT's.

This Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school has consistently performed well over the years and is recognised nationally. Pupils display exemplary behaviour and continue to make excellent progress at all stages. They are polite, courteous, and supportive of each other. Science was particularly highlighted as providing a rich and varied curriculum and sustaining a high level of education. The Science department is well resourced and well allocated to ensure students of all abilities are successful in learning.

The position will be for the Autumn term initially on an ongoing supply basis, following a successful assignment this is likely to be extended or made permanent. The school has ample parking available for staff and is located a very short distance from a main train and bus station.

The successful Science Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
A positive and personable role model for their class
