Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a medium sized secondary school in Essex who are seeking a Teacher of Science to join their welcoming team from January. This would be to teach students up to GCSE at least, with the options to also teach either Chemistry, Biology or Physics up to A Level. The role would The school can consider applications from NQT's and those with experience, offering a salary of £25,543 to £41,635 (MPS/UPS, either on a permanent or temporary to permanent arrangement).

You will have access to highly effective professional development and work with a team of staff who deeply care about the students' well being and attainment. The department is well resourced and consists of nearly 10 teachers and 5 technicians/support staff.
The school is accessible by public transport from parts of East London, onsite parking is available for those that drive.
The successful Science Teacher will be:
Able to confidently plan and teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.
To be successful in this Science Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
