Tradewind are currently searching for a science teacher who is available part time to teach in a 'good' academy in Grimsby. Any science specialism will be considered for this position as the department are willing to be flexible with the right candidate. We are looking for a teacher that is available to work 2/3 days a week, and we are willing to be flexible on this. Due to the part time nature of this role, this could be an excellent position for somebody looking for a better work life balance, or for a retired teacher looking to guide students through their exams. As this is a pivotal time in the academy, with regards to year 11s, we are looking for a practitioner with excellent subject knowledge to help guide the students and help them in their exam preparations. There is potential for a full time position if this is what you are looking for, so please do not be dissuaded if you are looking for full time work.

This will be paid to scale. The post is to start from Easter and run for the summer term, with the option of a permanent contract at the end if the candidate is successful and would like the option of a permanent contract. If you are a candidate who is only interested in temporary supply work, however, please do not be deterred from applying. Although the position is from Easter, the position would be available straight away if the practitioner is free and available.

We are looking for:
*A confident science teacher who can teach to Key Stage 4 students.
*A committed practitioner who wants to attain the highest standards for their students.
*A practitioner who is dedicated to creating innovative lessons for their students.
*A teacher with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).

You will be teaching all science disciplines to Key Stage 3 but can afford to be selective in the discipline you would like to teach to Key Stage 4.
