About the School - Science Teacher - Haringey, North London
Starting in January 2019 this well run, successful inner London secondary school is looking to appoint a general science teacher on a permanent basis. This role has become available after the current teacher had to return home after not being awarded a Visa extension. The school has been on a journey of marked improvement since obtaining Academy status in 2006 and has gone from 16% 5 A*-C grades to 74% last year. The school has Academy status but is run far more like a comprehensive and is not part of a chain. Behaviour at this school is now very good and having redeveloped all but one of the school buildings, the teaching facilities are excellent. The school has low staff turnover, excellent professional development and ongoing career progression. The science department is led by an exceptional HOD who is keen to share his knowledge and expertise with staff in order to develop their careers to the fullest.

Role requirements - Science Teacher - Haringey, North London
*QTS holder with the ability to teach Science Teacher and any specialism through to A-Level (with support if an NQT).
*This is an 'Outstanding' Ofsted school but the incoming teacher needs to have the full range of teaching abilities including class and behaviour management, the ability to engage and the confidence to ensure progression is made every lesson.
*Ability to manage a class of 30 passionate students at various stages of their education.
*Desire to improve and develop into an outstanding teacher, making use of the schools extensive CPD offerings.
