This North East Lincolnshire academy are keen to engage an outstanding Science Teacher for September 2020. This requirement is for a full-time practitioner and will initially be for one academic term, but there is the possibility that it will be extended.
Delivering exceptional results year on year, this Academy has been part of the community for decades. Delivering a well thought out and inspiring curriculum, you would be joining an established and cohesive team to become part of the local areas most sought after teaching faculty.
As the successful applicant, you can expect to be paid in line with the main pay scale - £125 - £185 per day - as you will be delivering a full teaching post, including planning, marking and assessment.

The successful applicant will have outstanding subject knowledge and will be able to confidently deliver lessons up to KS4. The ideal practitioner will have a specific specialism within the sciences; either Chemistry, Physics or Biology.
The perfect candidate will have the knowledge and experience to guide students through their examinations and will have demonstrable results in delivering excellent outcomes for all.
Your ability to engage students to drive their best outcomes is a prerequisite.

The role:
* Delivering Science to Key Stage 3 & 4
* Planning, marking and assessment
* Attending training afterschool hours and parents evenings as required
* Promoting positive behaviour

You will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 & 4 and will also be responsible for a form group too. As such, you must be prepared to ingratiate yourself into the full workings of the school.
SLT are warm and welcoming and you will be supported at all levels from your Head of Department all the way up to Head Teacher.
The school have excellent resources and you can enjoy working with the most up to date technology within your lessons.

QTS is essential for this post as is the right to legally work in the UK. You will also require a CV demonstrating your most recent full ten-year work history and an enhanced DBS.
