Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent Science Teacher to teach in an OFSTED rated 'good' school in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. This is a part time position, teaching on a Monday and Tuesday (0.4 timetable). You will predominantly be teaching Key Stage 3 science, so any subject specialism would be suitable for this vacancy. This is a currently vacant position, and we are looking for an applicant to start as soon as possible, but will be prepared to wait for an exceptional candidate until January. This will likely last until the end of the academic year, but will definitely last until Easter 2020. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role is expected for this role, meaning the successful applicant will be paid according to the main pay scale. In real values, this means the successful applicant can expect to earn between £120.00 and £180.00 per day for this position, depending on qualifications and experience.


The School in question is a large Academy with good transport links as it is central in the town. On a regular bus route, you do not need to drive to have access to this school. The school is part of an extremely successful academy trust that has excellent systems in place to ensure behaviour and progress is strong, and ultimately student welfare is the most important thing for the school.
