Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced Science teacher looking for your new role?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding science teacher to work in an excellent school in Scunthorpe on a full time basis, initially from January 2020 - Easter 2020, but very possibly to last until the end of the academic year. You will be covering a vacant position, so if you enjoy the placement and are successful, the potential for a permanent position is there for you. You will be joining as the only science teacher, and as such will be expected to teach all three sciences to Key Stage 4 students. There is also the potential to teach to A Level students if suitably qualified and looking for A level teaching on your timetable. There is a wealth of resources at the school already, meaning planning for this position would be minimal. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for this position, and for this reason the successful candidate will be paid to scale. In real terms, this means the successful candidate can expect to earn between £120.00 and £184.00 per day for this position. The school is a true delight to work at, more information can be found below.

The School in question is a small independent school in the very heart of Scunthorpe. It is extremely accessible via public transport, and has a large on site car park with ample parking for those who do drive. The school has an extremely strong sense of community, and are looking for a teacher to embrace their ethos and jump into the life of the school. Typical working hours are 8:30 - 3:00PM, but you will be finished teaching at 1:00PM on a Wednesday (this will not be deducted from your daily rate). We are looking for a practitioner who is competent across all three science disciplines.

The role:
*Planning and delivering for Key Stage 3 Science lessons
*Planning and delivering all three sciences to Key Stage 4 students
*Potentially teaching A Level Science (your choice of disciplines)
*Marking work in line with the national curriculum

The benefits of registering with Tradewind:
