Are you an engaging and dedicated Science Teacher currently seeking a new role?

A popular, oversubscribed secondary school on the outskirts of Cambridge are currently seeking a Teacher of Science to join their successful department from half term (an earlier start could be arranged for the right candidate). The school are able to consider applications from NQT's and those with experience, as well as the option to work on a full or part time basis. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly successful and supportive working environment, with longer term possibilities of progression and development. The requirement will be for until July 2021 at least with the view to be extended or made permanent following a successful assignment. Specialists in all disciplines (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) can be considered.

The school was graded as 'Outstanding' in all areas in their most recent Ofsted. Regardless of prior attainment levels, students make rapid and sustained progress leading to many pupils going on to exceed national standards. Teaching is consistently effective resulting in positive relationships between staff and students. Behaviour is exemplary in and out of lessons and all parties (including senior and middle leaders, staff, students and parents) are fully onboard and supportive of the culture of high expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school and work alongside a hard-working and supportive team of staff. This position would suit a passionate, dedicated and motivational Science teacher eager to achieve. The school is best accessed by car with plenty of onsite parking available.

The successful Science Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.

To be successful in this Science Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
