Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a school in South East Essex who are seeking a full-time Science teacher to join their welcoming team. The successful teacher will be expected to teach engaging and inspiring Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils. The school are able to consider specialists in either Chemistry, Biology or Physics.

The school is now part of a highly successful and supportive Trust with all schools being rated as 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. Since the amalgamation the school has significantly improved in a short space of time, with compliments coming from staff, students and parents. For the right person wanting to make a lasting difference, this would be a very exciting time to join the school and be part of their journey. The role will either be on a long term supply, permanent or temporary to permanent basis.

They can consider applications from strong NQT's, those with experience and staff who are overseas trained. This is a great chance to join a dynamic school and work alongside a hard-working and supportive team of staff. This position would suit a passionate, dedicated and motivational Science teacher eager to achieve.

The successful teacher of Science will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE and ideally have a proven track record of progression.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.

To be successful in this Science teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
