Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Science Teacher to join an academy school, to start September 2019. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £160 a day, with the potential of a permanent contract.

We are recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established academy school, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. They successfully blend modern approaches to teaching and learning with traditional values that underpin all that they do. They aim to ensure that all of their students challenge themselves to become the best they can possibly be. * Hold QTS Status or QTLS
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
* Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

The school are looking for a Science Teacher that can deliver an exceptional standard of teaching and learning and has excellent subject knowledge, as well as a great personality for building rapport with staff and students alike. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

The role itself will involve the delivery of Science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. You will be delivering a full timetable, with PPA time for planning and marking. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

The school is based in Trafford, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.
