***Experience teaching other subjects is desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive and engaging Science lessons
  • Cultivate a welcoming and constructive learning atmosphere that promotes engagement and involvement among students.
  • Provide mentorship and support to students, nurturing their passion for Science, sometimes on a one to one basis
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and assist them in achieving their maximum potential.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • QTS or equivalent experience teaching Science alongside the appropriate qualification
  • Previous experience teaching SEN pupils (ADHD, ASD, SEMH)
  • Experience teaching other subjects, for example, Maths
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and adaptability in diverse school settings.
  • Demonstrate skilled classroom management for a safe learning environment.
  • Maintain a positive teaching demeanour.
  • Show strong organisation for efficient lesson planning and resource management.
