Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Science Technician to work in a secondary school in Derbyshire.This is a full time tole to start in February 2021, 5 days per week role (term time only) until the end of the academic year.
In this role, the successful Science Technician will be supporting the Science Department across KS3 to KS5. The successful Technician will be working closely with the Head of Department and Senior Technician to ensure a seamless running of the Science laboratories, providing technical support to teaching staff and students.
Duties will include preparing for practical tasks, laboratory and equipment maintenance for Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to A level, managing stock levels and ensuring COSHH and Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
A degree is science is essential for this role. Previous school experience will be very useful.
This secondary school was rated Good in its most recent Ofsted. The school is located in Derbyshire with excellent facilities in a rural setting.
