Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Lead Science Technician to work in a Secondary Girls School in Haringey. This is a full time tole to start from October HT, 5 days per week role (Term Time only) until the end of the academic year.

In this role, the successful Science Technician will be supporting the Science Department across KS3 to KS5. The successful Technician will be working closely with the Head of Department and Senior Technician to ensure a seamless running of the Science laboratories, providing technical support to teaching staff and students. Duties will include preparing for practical tasks, laboratory and equipment maintenance for Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to A level, managing stock levels and ensuring COSHH and Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.

A degree is science is essential for this role. Previous school experience will be highly regarded.

This secondary school was rated Good in its most recent Ofsted and is the highest performing school for progress in Haringey. One of the best schools in the borough, proven by the schools students and outcome year on year. The school is located in the heart of Haringey with excellent access to the Underground and bus network.
