Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Science Technician to work in a secondary school in Newham. Commencing in September, this is a full time, 5 days per week role (Term Time only). Working hours are 8:30am to 4pm.



In this role, the successful Science Technician will be supporting the Science Department across KS3 and KS4. The successful Technician will be working closely with the Head of Department and Senior Technician to ensure a seamless running of the Science laboratories, providing technical support to teaching staff and students. Duties will include preparing for practical tasks, laboratory and equipment maintenance for Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE level, managing stock levels and ensuring COSHH and Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.



A degree is science is essential for this role. Previous school experience will be highly regarded.



This secondary school was rated Good in its most recent Ofsted. The school is located in Newham with excellent access to the Underground, National Rail and bus network.
