We are glad to be working with a special school in Bristol, who are looking to recruit a SEN teacher to teach their Secondary aged pupils with Autism, the role is to start full-time in September to teach various subjects subjects to their students with ASC, SEMH and aspergers.

Our school is based in central Bristol, and it is within a commutable distance from surrounding areas such as Fishponds, South Glos and Kingswood. The school caters for learners with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a fantastic support structure and offers exceptional resources and further training for all staff that work there.

The position is long-term and will become permanent or contract with the school and it involves developing their learning levels of their secondary pupils who have challenging behaviour. This is a long-term contract commencing in September and due to become permanent/contract after an initial term with the agency.

This role might be ideal for you if:
*You have previous Maths and Science Teaching experience in SEND school or similar setting.
*You are a qualified trained teacher willing to teach STEM Subjects to Secondary aged pupils with SEN.
*You have previously worked with young people with Autism or Behavioural issues and have a keen interest developing the learning and emotional well-being of students with SEN.
*You have experience and understanding of child development and learning within a SEND settings
*You are available full-time from September 2020.
*You have a flexible and conscientious approach.
*You are looking for a long-term position if not a permanent one.


Location: Swindon

In return, you will have the advantage of working for an established AP with lots opportunities for growth and training in SEN as well as possibility of a contract position.
You will gain great amount of knowledge about working in a special education provision school and will be substantial support on additional needs such as Autism, Aspergers and BESD.

To join us and be successful in these teaching assistant positions you will need to:

* Have QTS or QTLS.
Team-teach training is ideal, but not a must as training can be offered by the school.
Previous experience of teaching students with behavioural issues.
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
