Are you a Data Administrator looking for your next long-term position?
Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our Liverpool secondary schools who are looking to appoint a Data Support Technician to start on the 17th May 2021 for a 12-month period. This position will be full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
To be considered for this role you will need:-
- English and Maths GCSE at grade A-C
- A minimum of 2 years' recent experience of working in an office/administration environment
- Experience of maintaining and processing large quantities of data, including collection and analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act
- Competence in the use of spreadsheets and database processes
- SIMS experience (preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in the use of email and the internet
Responsibilities:
- Update data on SIMs
- Manage school database
- Create reports
- Create spreadsheets on Excel
- Assist office manager with general administrative tasks
To join us and be successful in this Data Support Technician role you will need:
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate, which is on the update service or be willing to apply for one (cost refunded after the completion of 20 days' work)
An overseas police check (if applicable) and professional reference checks - Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK - An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure at a cost of £48.50 (cost refunded after 20 working days)
- An overseas police check if applicable
- A minimum of 2 references covering 2 years, including your most recent teaching reference
- A complete 10 year career history with all gaps accounted for
- Proof of Right to work in the UK
