Tradewind are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic teacher with excellent Behaviour Management skills to teach in a Secondary Alternative Provision based in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a real interest and passion in teaching children with EBSD who will be teaching subjects across the curriculum, the pupils vary in ability, so planning will be involved. The school is small with a great support system your class will be on 8 pupils and 2 Team Teach trained Learning Support Assistants.

You will join a hardworking and dedicated team who are committed to developing the potential of all students, whatever their starting point. The school are looking for someone who can be flexible and resilient with a good sense of humour. This role is as a general teacher across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for planning for both GCSE and Functional Skills lessons for students from Year 7 to year 11. The children within the Alternative Provision have mixture of behaviour difficulties including: ADHD, ASD, ODD and SEMH. Strong behaviour and classroom management is desired.

This small school has onsite parking and can be easily assessed from near by areas such as St Annes, Preston or Blackpool.

For this role you must have:
*Experience of planning and delivering lessons to students with challenging behaviour
*QTS is not essential but Qualified teachers are welcome to apply
*You will need an enhanced DBS or be willing to get a DBS for this position
*Experience of working with children in a School or Residential setting within the last 24 months
