Tradewind Recruitment are working with a large, fast paced Secondary School in Brent, who are seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their inclusion team. This is a full time position that will commence immediately and run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

About the role - Secondary Teaching Assistant - Brent:
*You will be supporting key students in a range of classes across KS3 - 5, motivating and encouraging students to do their best, breaking down the curriculum or differentiating lessons or activities when necessary
*You will be responsible for planning and delivering bespoke lessons and learning activities for your students, with the guidance of the SENCO and class teachers
*Working closely with class teachers, you will contribute to the upkeep of an appropriate, positive and inclusive learning environment
*You will work hard to promote social and emotional development of students as well as identify and help remove barriers to students' learning and progression


About the candidate - Secondary Teaching Assistant - Brent:
*The successful candidate will be a confident, energetic person with a passion for education and helping students to reach their academic, social and emotional goals
*Prior experience supporting young people, especially those with special educational needs or learning difficulties, as a mentor, tutor or youth worker would be particularly beneficial for this position
*This would also suit a recent graduate keen to gain further experience in education before commencing teacher training in the near future
