Tradewind Recruitment is working with a large, vibrant mainstream Secondary School in Brent who are looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their inclusion team on a full time, long term basis. This contract will commence ASAP and run until the Easter School Holidays in the first instance.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant in Brent, your responsibilities will include:
*Working with a small group of students across Key Stages 3 and 4 who have EHCPs (Education Health and Care Plane) who require assistance in the classroom to ensure their individual needs are met and they are provided with an equal opportunity to reach their full potential
*Motivating, encouraging and re-engaging students within the classroom and differentiating lesson plans to meet their learning abilities when required
*Planning and delivering small group interventions or lessons in line with the national curriculum and your students' needs

To be successful in this Secondary Teaching Assistant position in Brent, you will:
*Have experience supporting students who have SEN or learning/behaviour difficulties within a school or extra-curricular setting
*Be confident adapting or differentiating lessons to meet the individual needs of your students
*Be adaptable and flexible within constantly changing situations
*Be passionate about helping students to reach their full academic, social and behavioural potential and providing an equal opportunity for students to access the curriculum
*This position would also suit a graduate with experience supporting SEN students who is eager to gain experience within the classroom

This Secondary School in Brent is serviced by local buses and London Underground Tube services and easily accessible from all areas of North, West and Central London.
