Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in our client Secondary Schools in the St. Helens area. Tradewind are recruiting Teaching Assistants who are looking to work on either daily supply or those seeking long-term positions on either a full or part-time basis.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant on supply your role will vary and you could work in 5 different schools in any one week. You will be a support for the Subject Teacher. You may work with children on a 1:1 basis or in smaller groups. You will be led and guided by the teacher and will assist with behaviour management. You will need to quickly build rapport with students and ensure they are engaging in their learning. You may be required to support lunch time activities at the request of the school.

To join us and be considered for this Secondary Teaching Assistant vacancy you must;
* Be qualified to a minimum of Level 2;
* Ideally possess experience working in a KS3/4 setting setting;
* This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.
