The class you will be teaching is a class of 7 boys. Five of them are in Year 7, two of them are Year 6. The pupils in this class have significant gaps in the literacy and numeracy so teachers with the ability to differentiate and support students with individual intervention will be essential.

The recruitment process involves a trial lesson where the school want to see your ability to engage and interact well with the students, to build a rapport and keep them interested in what you are doing. Strong behaviour management, an ability to differentiate to different abilities and needs in the class, flexibility and adaptability are essential skills in this role.

The school is an OFSTED Outstanding school that teaches students aged 7-19 years old, with primary students downstairs and secondary aged students upstairs. It is a small school, currently with 49 pupils on the school roll. The school specifically supports students with SEMH needs and students with Autism. Programmes are highly individualised and suited to each individual student's needs.

The school students finish the day early on Friday and leave at 12.30pm. This allows staff to have PPA or training time on Friday afternoon. Class teachers teach their classes English, Math and PSHE, but specialist teachers teach the subjects of Art, Science, Music and PE. When students are being taught by a specialist teacher, the class teacher has PPA time. This gives each teacher quite a lot of PPA time.

Primary and Secondary teachers are welcome to apply. The school are willing to negotiate a flexible timetable for the successful candidate to consider their experience and strengths.

The Teacher would:
*Teach a class of 7 students
*Teach English, Math and PSHE to a primary level
*Support students to fill the gaps in their learning, specifically in literacy and numeracy
*Have plenty of PPA time

*Be supported by an onsite pastoral team
The school has:
*Been OFSTED rated Outstanding
*Great transport links, and is close to East Acton station
*Students aged 7-19 years old
*Around 49 pupils currently enrolled
*Students with complex SEMH needs
