Responsibilities:
SEMH Support: Work closely with students experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges, providing individualised support to help them succeed academically and socially.
Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a holistic support system for each student.
Resourceful Teaching: Implement creative and effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students with diverse learning needs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with the wider educational team.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is preferred.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Flexibility: Adaptability to the dynamic needs of the students and the school environment.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
