SEMH Teaching Assistant
SEMH Teaching Assistant needed!
Are you a compassionate and understanding individual with experience in providing support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a classroom environment?
Position:
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant for a local school in Stroud. We're looking for someone who embodies patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping students facing SEMH challenges.
Your role will involve building relationships, offering patience, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment for these young individuals.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, although the school is open to considering individuals with relevant experience and a strong commitment to supporting SEMH students.
Our daily rates for SEMH Teaching Assistants start at £90 and are negotiable based on your experience and qualifications.
This role with be on a temporary full-time and part-time basis 8:30 - 4:00 , with a strong possibility of securing a long-term role for the right candidate - these positions are available for an immediate start and for January 2024
To excel in this role and become a valuable member of our team, you should:
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
- Provide overseas police clearances if applicable.
- Supply professional reference checks.
- Ensure your CV comprehensively covers your employment history, with a focus on your relevant experience.
- Possess the legal right to work in the UK.
