You will work from a site based in Warrington during term time between the hours of 8.00-3.30pm. The role is classroom based and you will be part of a learning team including a qualified teacher and teaching assistant. Your role will be to assist these boys to reach their academic potential, along with developing life skills to enable them to learn.
These children have more often than not come from troubled backgrounds and as a result deal with associated social and emotional issues. The comments from their 2019 Ofsted inspection outlined an inspirational leadership team and their ability to provide an outstanding quality of education. They demonstrated a clear passion in showing the importance of understanding pupils behaviour.
We look for:
*Experience working with young children in a coaching or academic capacity
*Previous experience with challenging behaviours
*Calm but positive personality
*Level headed
*Skills to empower young people to make them believe they can achieve
*Excellent listening skills
*Maths and English GCSE as a minimum, TA qualification or hold a degree
