Role Responsibilities: As a SEN Behavior Teaching Assistant, your role will be pivotal in supporting students with behavioral difficulties. You will:

  • Work closely with students, providing one-on-one guidance and support to help manage and improve their behavior.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop and implement behavior management plans.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for students to thrive.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to build trust and encourage positive change.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the SENCO and teaching staff to continuously improve support strategies.

Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for helping students with behavioral difficulties reach their full potential.
  • Exceptional patience, empathy, and communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and behavioral challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in behavior management or special education.
