Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of English Teacher, to join a successful SEN school in Swindon, to start in January 2020. This is a full time, long term role that will become permanent after an initial period of a term, paying up to £150 a day.

We are recruiting on behalf of this successful SEMH school in Swindon which caters for students in Secondary ages with SEMH. Due to expansion, they are now seeking a KS3 & KS4 English teacher who can deliver excellent outcomes for their students. The school is in a central location in Swindon and easily commutable from Chippenham, Corsham, Marlborough, Cirencester, and Devizes.

In this role, primary areas of responsibility will be to:
Plan, deliver, and regularly review engaging English Curriculum
Encourage the development of positive attitudes to learning through well-planned teaching experiences
Have a creative and innovative approach to planning and teaching to re-engage disaffected learners in education and overcome barriers to learning.
Support the preparation for OFSTED inspections and ensure the Standards are met
Monitor student learning, social, emotional and behavioural progress against targets

To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:

*Hold QTS Status or equivalent qualification.
*Have Special Educational Needs (SEN) knowledge and experience working with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH); although not essential.
*A strong desire to have an impact on the lives of vulnerable young people
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
