Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant with Autism and Primary experience, to join a successful SEN school in North Swindon, to start as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £70 a day.

We are recruiting on behalf of this Swindon SEND school, which caters for students from 5 to 19. The school caters for young people with additional needs principally in the areas of Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech Language and Communication (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) at the communicative, higher -operating end of the spectrum. All young people attending this academy have an official statement of SEN (Special Educational Needs) or EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan). The school is an 'Good' educational provider and is delivering promising outcomes for students in the local area.

This OFSTED 'Good' SEN school is looking for a Special Educational Needs LSA who can support young people with ASC. The ideal candidate will support young people with high-functioning Autism with ease as well as manage behaviour effectively. You must be a Special needs LSA with previous experience of supporting young people in Primary ages.

The role itself will involve supporting students in KS1 and KS2 with ASC and MLD.

The school is based in North Swindon, with good public transport links and ample on site and on street parking available.

After visiting this school, I was incredibly impressed by their campus and the Farm on the school's premises.

As an LSA at this school, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed team of teachers, support staff and other Education professionals who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations, plus work tirelessly to provide a varied, engaging curriculum and a positive learning experience. This school has excellent collaboration with the parents and is known to be a happy school.
