Special Needs Support

Tradewind Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant who will be comfortable supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a mainstream Warrington Primary School.

An Ofsted rated 'Good', reputable Primary School in Warrington is looking to add an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong SEN background to the team for November 2023. This is a full-time position until July 2024.

You will be responsible for running small group and 1-1 work. These students need additional support, guidance and resources. You will not be responsible for planning or marking, however you will be expected to feed back progress to the class teacher. As a result, prior experience of running small group and 1-1 interventions is vital.

Requirements to apply:

  • SEN experience
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or a willingess to obtain one
  • 2 professional references
  • Legal right to work in the UK
