About the School - SEN Primary Teacher - Barking, East London
Located in the vibrant inner London borough of Barking this exceptional community school has been welcoming pupils from every background and ability through its doors for the last 60 years. The school has a proud tradition of being totally inclusive and over recent years as increased the provision it offers SEN pupils which in turn has seen more parents select the school for children of this background. The school is looking to expand the SEN team by bringing an Early Years Primary Teacher who has heavy SEN experience working with children in Nursery, Reception and Pre-School. This is a permanent post that will add to the already excellent team of SEN professionals the school has and will see the incoming teacher work with pupils in small groups, on a one to one basis, while keeping in close contact with parents and external professionals.
Role requirements - SEN Primary Teacher - Barking, East London
*QTS and mainstream teaching experience ideally in EYFS or KS1 with a track record of helping students to make excellent progress.
*SEN experience working with children who have a range of needs, ideally at a very young age.
*Passion for seeing every pupil achieve regardless of their starting point.
*Desire to take on a role that will require extra training and development on a personal level.
