Position: SEN Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: January

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to primary school students with diverse special educational needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to implement personalised strategies and interventions.
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing environment conducive to academic and social development.
• Assist in small group activities, ensuring individual attention for optimal learning outcomes.
• Implement positive behaviour management techniques to create a supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a primary school setting and working with students with SEN.
• Understanding of various SEN conditions and their impact on learning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of primary education.
• Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undergo SEN-specific training.
