SEN Secondary Teacher

We are currently looking for a KS3 & KS4 SEND Teacher with experience of working with Secondary aged students with SEMH in Swindon. The job will involve teaching students between the ages of 15 and 16. The role is full-time and starts as soon as possible and might be ongoing until Christmas 2020. The school is open to consider Teachers from Secondary or further education settings, based on their experience with challenging behaviour.

Majority of the work will involve teaching English. However, school is also open to welcome teachers with other subject specialisms with significant amounts of SEMH experience. The education provision is very reputable and the teaching and support team works very closely with each other. This would be an ideal role for a Teacher who taught English for a while even though their qualification is another subject and would like to work within SEN settings. -You have previous Teaching Experience with EBD.
-You have previously taught students with EBD or taught English.
-You have experience/training in Behaviour Management.
-You are available full-time from next term.

* Experience of working with children or vulnerable adults
*Be available to Teach English
*Must have QTS or Equivalent
*Be comfortable with managing severe challenging behavior

* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
