Tradewind are currently recruiting for an SEN TA to work in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Tradewind are working with an excellent school in the East Riding of Yorkshire, who are looking for an SEN TA, who specialises in working with students with Autism, to work on a long term basis. This is a full time booking, and is on an 'ongoing' basis, meaning it will likely last as long as the student is in the school. Payment for this position will be between £65.00 and £70.00 per day. This has potential to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be working with a wonderful in a rural location, that caters for villages in the surrounding area. This is a wonderful, charming, small school that caters to some excellent students who are willing to learn. Your role will be within their SEN department, an expanding department dedicated to providing the absolute very best care to their students. You will be working with students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and experience teaching students with these needs are essential for this role. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a student, and applications from teaching assistants who have worked on a 1:1 capacity before is also essential.

The role:
* Assisting the teacher in the delivering work with the child
* Developing curricular knowledge as required by the school
* Undertaking observations of the pupil and contribute to pupil records
* Abiding by and work towards all the policies within the school e.g. behaviour management, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities
* Carrying out the above duties in accordance with the Children's Services Department's Equal Opportunities Policy.

We are looking for a teacher with effective subject knowledge, and an eagerness to provide an excellent quality of education. Essential requirements:
Experience working as a teaching assistant
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
