Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering students learning and developmnent. Your constant companionship in every class will involve offering guidance, support, and additional teaching assistance, ensuring their full participation in their academic journey. Your dedication will create an inclusive learning environment where the student can flourish and pursue their interests confidently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated support in academic classes, enabling the student to access learning materials and actively engage in discussions and activities.
• Collaborate with subject teachers to adapt lesson materials for accessibility.
• Assist the student during mobility transitions, ensuring safety and confidence.
• Encourage social interaction and facilitate involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Offer one-on-one guidance and tutoring to reinforce class concepts and support academic excellence.
• Work closely with the school's inclusion team to implement tailored strategies for educational and personal development.
• Engage with small student groups and provide one-on-one support as necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with SEN students preferred.
• Knowledge of communication strategies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and genuine passion for enabling diverse student success.
