The primary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London are looking for a compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support 6 pupils with SEN. Your day as a Special Needs Teacher will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies and activities that the students we support enjoy.

An outstanding primary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London with a provision for pupils with Autism and Social and Emotional Difficulties in Barking and Dagenham, initially with 30 pupils, but growing to a maximum of 45 pupils aged 5-11 are now looking for a Special Needs Teacher to join them. The school are willing to provide training to staff before handing them a classroom of their own. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mainstream trained teacher or a Special Needs Teacher to join an outstanding and a leader school of special education.

This is an ideal position for a mainstream teacher who is looking to get in to special education.

*The school in Barking and Dagenham, East London are looking to interview the correct SEN Teacher
*It is key that as a SEN Teacher you are positive and enjoy having a laugh
*The SEN Teacher will support pupils with life skills and leisure activities
*The School are keen on SEN Teacher with a background of Psychology and SEN
*It is desirable that the SEN Teacher has an interest in Autism
*Small class sizes of 5 pupils and 3 support staff

It is key for this role that you are positive and enjoy having a laugh. The pupils you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community - including swimming, for example. Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the students you will be supporting is a key factor. They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential.
Essential requirements:
*QTS or Equivalent (QTLS)
*Knowledge of the P Scales Curriculum
*Legal right to work in the UK
*NQT or experienced Teacher
