*The SEN Teacher position is to start in January
*The school are looking to interview the correct SEN Intervention Teacher ASAP before the holidays
*The SEN Primary Teacher must have previous experience of teaching pupils with SEMH needs

The PRU is in Wandsworth for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with a therapeutic approach. Your day as a Special Needs Teacher will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies and activities that the students we support enjoy

It is key for this role that you are positive and engaging. The pupils you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community. Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the students you will be supporting is a key factor. They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential.
The PRU is based across two sites-Tooting and Westdean mainly supporting pupils whom mainstream education had proved difficult. However, it also acts as a Pathways provision for pupils with complex special needs. All staff and pupils are committed towards the aim of reintegrating pupils back into mainstream education and fulfilling their individual potentials.
Essential requirements:
*QTS or Equivalent (QTLS)
*Knowledge of the P Scales Curriculum
*Legal right to work in the UK
*NQT or experienced Teacher
