We are recruiting! We are looking for a special needs teacher to teach a small class of KS3 students with Downs Syndrome and Autism. The role involves working Monday to Wednesday between 0830-1530 and teach differentiated lessons to a small class of students with diagnosed Autism and Downs Syndrome.

There is plenty of on-site parking and has easy access to motorways. School is easy to get to from Bath, Castle Combe and Winterbourne.

Essential requirements:
Special needs experience of teaching students with Autism and Downs Syndrome is essential. School is open to accept both Primary and Secondary teachers depending on the level of teaching experience specific to Downs Syndrome and Autism.

The ideal teacher should be creative and can use alternative methods to enable learning and a great attention to detail in the children's development and learning. The school has many qualified and trained SEN support staff that can support the teacher.
