The Role:

As a SEN Teacher at our Wirral-based school, you will:

Create Inclusive Learning Plans: Develop and implement individualised education plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs.

Collaborate with Support Staff: Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and track the progress of students, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Innovative Teaching: Bring creativity and innovation to the classroom, making learning engaging and enjoyable for all students.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a recognized teaching qualification with QTS and have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.

Collaborative Spirit: Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.

Availability: Be available to start in January for the maternity cover position.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
