Are you an exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children?

We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic SEN teacher to join our team in Croydon, specifically for our Sensory pathway. At our school, we understand the unique needs of children on the autism spectrum, and we are committed to providing them with the best education and support possible. With a maximum of only 8 children in each class, we ensure a focused and inclusive learning environment where each child can thrive. What sets us apart is our dedication to providing personalized attention to each student. That's why we have not one, but four 1:1 Teaching Assistants in each class, working alongside you to create a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. Together, we aim to create a positive and empowering learning experience for our students. As our ideal candidate, you will have a deep understanding of autism and the ability to tailor your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child. You will have experience in creating individualized education plans and possess a strong background in inclusive education practices.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student

Collaborate with the 1:1 Teaching Assistants to create a cohesive and supportive classroom environment

Monitor and track student progress, adapting strategies as necessary

Communicate effectively with parents and other members of the multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification

Experience working with children on the autism spectrum (ASD)

Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices
