Required for September a SEN TA to work on a 1:1 basis with an Autistic child who will be joining the school in year 1. This will be a 1 Year fixed term contract. The successful candidate must be ABA trained.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding primary school. You will work as a full time Teaching Assistant alongside a friendly team of passionate, professional and enthusiastic staff supporting a child in Year 1 who is severely Autistic with complex needs.
As a SEN TA you will be working with a child with autism on a 1:1 basis, implementing learning and behaviour programs set by qualified teachers and behavioural specialists using techniques based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
You will work in a small team, ensuring the daily needs of this pupil are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun school environment.
You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic as well as creative, energetic and committed to engaging a pupil whilst monitoring their progress and giving them the best school experience possible.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference to children's lives by enabling them to learn, thrive and achieve.
Ideally you will have experience of working with children and have good communication skills both written and verbal. You will need to have experience of working in an ABA environment.
Enthusiasm, reliability, being a team player and a self-starter are key skills required for the role.
