The School:
This school in Barnet in North London and is conveniently located close to a Northern Line station, with on-street parking available for drivers.

The school is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience of working with children with a range of special needs.

The child will be joining the school in Year 2 in September and he has autism. He is verbal and also has some learning delay but usually operates in class, with some time spent working 1:1 away from class. The Head has been told that he is quite sociable and likes tio have a small circle of friends. He is a very likeable child who can find school life frustrating which can cause him to get angry and run away, so there will be a lot of time initially helping him to settle into the school.

The Head is seeking a teaching assistant who:

*Has experience working with children with special needs, in particular Autism (ASD)
*Has an organised and flexible approach
*Has good behaviour management and a positive, calm demeanour

The salary on offer will be £70-80 per day, depending on experience.
