Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant confident supporting a student who uses a wheelchair? Are you a personable, encouraging and positive individual with excellent interpersonal skills? If you answered yes, then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a highly regarded mainstream faith School who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with a student is KS3 who is a wheelchair user. Prior experience in a similar setting is essential. This is a full time, long term post that will commence immediately and run for the full academic year.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant - Barnet, North London:
*This role will see you supporting the physical needs of a student who uses a wheelchair
*In addition to supporting students' learning, your duties may include: tending to students' personal needs, including toileting, physiotherapy, dressing and mobility; assisting with manual handling, including the use of specialist equipment; and working with therapists to ensure all appropriate therapy is delivered.
*You will have interpersonal and organisational skills and have the ability to working as part of a team
*You will have prior experience supporting the needs of wheelchair users and be a confident, engaging individual!
