Tradewind Recruitment is working with a diverse, inclusive Mainstream Secondary School in Barnet who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This position will see you support a small group of students with Special Educational Needs and will run for the full academic year.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Barnet, your responsibilities will include:
*Providing assistance, encouragement, and support to your designated students across KS3 and KS4. These students will have varying special educational needs.
*You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to differentiate lessons and create individual learning activities for your students in accordance with the national curriculum that are adapted to meet their needs, abilities and interests
*You will provide one-to-one support for your students and run small group or individual interventions when required


To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant position in Barnet, you will:
*Be experiences in provided support, encouragement and a positive learning space for students with SEN or learning/behavioural difficulties
*Be confident in differentiating lessons and creating learning activities across a range of subjects
*Be an approachable, calm, and patient individual who is passionate about supporting SEN students and helping them to reach their full potential and ensuring they enjoy learning!
*This position would also suit a recent graduate with experience working with SEN children who is keen to commence a career in education
