This is an "outstanding" school and Tradewind has helped them with staffing for many years. The school has children from a broad range of backgrounds with many home languages.
There is a lovely atmosphere at the school, with an inspirational Headteacher and senior management team, who run a fantastic school. These include events such as family dance nights, world food evenings, and a family reading club.

The role will involve working with a child, who has an EHCP and is joining the school imminently. She has Autism and whilst she has some speech, it is an area of focus and she has weekly speech therapy with a visiting specialist. Experience of working with children with speech and language needs would be very welcome. You may have some general teaching assistant duties every day, so you should be adaptable and flexible. Some experience of PECS and/or Makaton is very welcome.
