The salary for this role will be £75-80 per day, depending on experience. The school requires someone on Monday-Wednesday and there may be the opportunity for additional days on an ad hoc basis, if you are available.

This is a "good" school and Tradewind has helped them with staffing for many years. There is a lovely atmosphere at the school, with an established senior leadership team. The school has parking and it's own small wood, where the school does some forest education.

The role will involve working with a child in Year 1, who has an EHCP and who has Autism and he is verbal, although experience of working with children with speech and language needs would be very welcome. His behaviour is generally good, and he works well with someone who can set and stick to clear boundaries and who is well organised. You should be patient, calm, firm but fair and very reliable.

To join us and be successful in this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
*Ideally hold a teaching assistant qualification
*Have previous experience working with children with SEN, especially ASD, in a primary school setting
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
