SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Barnet, North West London

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Salary: £90 - £110 + per day (depending on experience)

We are an esteemed education agency representing an outstanding Secondary School located in Barnet, North West London. This progressive institution is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, starting as soon as possible for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in various classroom environments.
  • Assist in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement tailored support plans for students.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators.
  • Contribute to the academic and personal growth of students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work harmoniously within a team.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive school environment.
