As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Barnet, your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting, motivating and encouraging students who have diagnosed Special Educational Needs to ensure that their individual needs are being met within the classroom to provide them with the equal opportunity to access the curriculum
*Differentiating lessons within the class to meet your students' needs
*Planning and delivering bespoke learning activities to deliver to your students in individual or small group interventions
To be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant position in Barnet, you will:
*Be a positive, confident individual who is passionate about helping students to reach their full potential
*Have experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs or learning / behavioural difficulties in any setting
*Be a hard working team player who takes initiatives to problem solve in rapidly changing situations, and be able to diffuse tense situations whilst remaining calm and professional
