Tradewind in Bristol is recruiting! We looking to recruit a SEND TA with experience of working with pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour for a school in Bristol. Our client is an established special needs school within easy reach of public transport and motorway and caters for pupils with Special Needs. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with Autism and be available to work on a full-time basis until end of academic year. The work next term will be Monday to Friday.

The school has got excellent reputation for its SEND provision and offers great training and development opportunities for all their staff in regard to Autism and behaviour management. You would be working within a well-established learning support team with a supportive teaching team.

Must have:
-Experience of supporting pupils with Autism or other special needs that might relevant such as in a residential or respite setting for Autism.
-Team-Teach, use of Makaton are essential.
Highly Desirable:

-Special Educational Needs Experience in a care/school/PRU/Primary setting
-Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people on the spectrum
-Training in Autism and Makaton and PECS
