QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
*Key stage 2 experience
*Ideally a degree with a 2:1 or higher
*Up to date First Aid training (not required but a plus)
*Up to date Safeguarding training

*Strong behaviour management
*An infectious personality
*An ability to engage with young people quickly
*A Firm but fair attitude.
*Speech & Language Experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
*Understanding how pupils learn and develop
*Effective use of technology to support learning
*General understanding of national/foundation stage curriculum
*Ability to self‐evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning

*Ability to motivate pupils

*Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom
roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.

INFORMATION ON THE ROLE
*8:30AM to 4:00PM
*One-to-one with a boy in year 3
*Rate is between £70 - £80 per day based on experience
*ASAP start with view of going permanent

All Candidates that apply must have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 and have Speech & Language experience.
The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
