At Tradewind we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with educational needs in mainstream primary schools in Camden. The successful candidate will work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, providing essential support to help them achieve their Educational Healthcare Plan goals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement personalised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Support students with Autism and complex learning difficulties in their academic and social development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living and personal care, as required.
Requirements:
We are looking for individuals with:
- Previous experience working with students with Autism and complex learning difficulties (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students
